The Tadpole and the Pond

The tadpole swims in the pond,
This is my universe he wonders.
Unaware of the life outside,
Just knowing the sky, stars and thunders.

The tiny yellow bud in the corner is growing,
Unaware of the tadpole, the tadpole not knowing.
Sharing the pond, they grow together,
Because one is, there is also the other.

Tadpole becomes frog, the yellow flower smiles,
They breathe fresh air, time just flies.
And a day comes when they shed their bond,
Frog dies, flower dies, they both become the pond.

We are those tadpoles, who only know the pond,
Not aware of the trees, birds and creation beyond.
We swim all life with fears and worries,
And make a pond full of miseries.

Come, all beings. Break your bonds.
And see the life outside the pond.
The universe is not just about You,
Tadpole is the flower, there is no me there is no You.
