That is Okay

Dear Friend,
If you are not a winner,
That is okay.
If you are not a Banker, Doctor, Lawyer,
That is okay.
If you are fat and ugly,
And have no money,
That is okay.
If you are black skinned,
Having few pennies in hand,
Living on a shady street in Brooklyn,
That is Okay.
If you are alone in this world,
And they call you an orphan,
You know nowhere to go,
That is Okay.
If you make mistakes, again and again,
You fall down, suffering in pain.
That is Okay.
Know that everything is there for reason,
This life, trees, skies and the rainy season.
So if you are just happy, while everything is on,
That is Okay.

And darling in case you have,
So many friends and a house so grand,
The finest clothes from the Versace brand,
You make millions, and spend with both hands.
That is also okay.
If you Party all night, for a future so bright.
If you holiday in the shimmering Paris lights,
That is Okay.

But dear one, if the hands that receive,
Pull back, when it’s time to Give,
If your genius sharp mind, has a heart so unkind,
If you do not care, leave behind people in despair,
If all you have is only for you,
If you do not have love, that is unconditional and true,
That is not Okay.
That is not Okay.
